Here's a 2013 - 2 kilo Ambex Roaster. It's just a little workhorse of a machine. Simply Excellent performance. The current owner has roasted some amazing beans on this machine. The bearings have recently been replaced, burners cleaned, belt maintained. She's ready to hook up and roast, roast, roast!
This unit was refurbished by Ambex and purchased by the current owner in 2018. Selling due to upgrading to a larger volume machine. No issues, no problems at all. Just a touch of cosmetic wear.
BONUS: This roaster includes Roaster Dynamics Profiling software, allowing each roast to be precisely controlled to achieve repeatable in the cup results. The system utilizes two RTD temperature sensors, for bean and environment, temperature measurements. NICE!
