This is 2007 Ambex 5 kilo Coffee Roaster in Excellent Condition WITH Afterburner!
Under 800 roasts total!
This Model YM-5 is amongst Ambex's most popular models. It comes with an integrated automation tower (see pictures), allowing it to run manually or automated. It runs on natural gas and has an internal chaff collection system, independent roasting and cooling systems, and stainless steel mantle and cooler.
The Ambex YM-5 utilizes impinged jet atmospheric gas burners for a cleaner, more precise roasting environment. Independent roasting and cooling allow for continuous, consistent performance, reducing overall operation time.
This unit includes a custom-designed afterburner and 14' of triple-walled, stainless steel vent stack/roaster-to-afterburner plumbing. Also being included in this sale are 2 Bunn Coffee Grinders, Measuring Scales & optional Palette Jack. Nice package!
The roaster and equipment are being sold due to the current owner changing gears and shutting down his business.
The roasting control automation tower was sold with the technology available in 2007 and is no longer supported so it would have to be retrofitted by Roaster Dynamics if the buyer decided to go that way. Paul Ribich of Roaster Dynamics was the inventor of the automation tower and is offering a new supported version. In recent years before the business shut down, it was operating manually with the built-in Watlow PID controller which is part of the roasting unit itself.
All equipment are all crated on palettes, and ready to ship, NOW!
