Another IR-5! It's Going To Go FAST!
This is another incredible roaster from the consistent Diedrich IR line. A 2017 Blue 5 kilo Diedrich IR-5 in AMAZING CONDITION as you can see by the pictures. Has only had 1 owner. Typical roast time during time owned has been approximately 15 hours a week.
Here's the story. Current owner has taken pristine care of this machine as it as taken care of his roasts. His business has grown substantially in this last year and he needs more roast per batch. He's sad to see it go, but best news: he replaced it with another exact blue color Diedrich - IR-12 this time (with full automation and 7-thermocouple pak)!
This IR-5 is in immaculate condition. No fires. No over-roasting. It has the triple thermocouple package from Diedrich, including bean, ambient, and exhaust temps. A nice added value. Also has the roast logging connect Phidget with USB port. Very easy to hook up to Artisan or Cropster.
This 5k Diedrich IR-5 can handle small batches as small as 250 grams (1/2 lb) or as large as 5 kg (11 lbs.). Roasts up to 44 lbs. per hour. Stainless steel cooling tray and stirrer arms.
This IR-5 currently runs on natural gas. Conversion kits are available direct from Diedrich to convert to Propane if necessary.
