Here’s a 2018 lime green 5 kilo Diedrich IR-5 in BRAND NEW CONDITION - just look at the pictures! It has had only 1 owner and has LESS THAN 100 ROASTS ON IT 25 HOURS ROASTING - TOTAL!
Its Story. This gem, (an emerald in this case ☺), has been very well taken care of, and only roasted 6 months in total. During this time, it was only a couple roasts a week. No fires, no over-roasting. So, wow, right? It’s like brand new!
This IR-5 currently runs on natural gas. And Great News: Owner has the conversion kit to propane, along with the original service tool kit for maintenance and cleaning. So, pick your fuel - it can handle them both!
This 5k Diedrich IR-5 can handle small batches as small as 250 grams (1/2 lb) or as large as 5 kg (11 lbs.). Roasts up to 44 lbs. per hour. And of course, it comes with the Diedrich stainless steel cooling tray.
- Diedrich's IR (infra-red) burner system integrates directly with Cropster and Artisan for a precise roast profile, and collecting/saving data.
- Infrared gas burners allow you to roast with conductive, convective, and radiant heat with total control.
