The Last Destoner You May Ever Need

High-volume through-put: Up to 2000 lbs of beans p/hr (900 kilos). Easily suitable for up to a 60 kilo roaster output.

This patent-pending fluid-bed destoner has separation technology that has changed how stones and other dense particles are removed from coffee. The Classic DeStoner is the only destoner that does not damage beans during the destoning process.

When you convey beans, it's inevitable that some will break. The Classic DeStoner doesn't convey beans, thus avoiding breakage. It uses a fluid-bed technology compared to traditional destoners, floating the beans in the air, which greatly reduces the velocity.

This results in removing even the smallest of stones and dense particles. The Classic Destoner's fluidizing separation process makes it possible to separate particles much closer to the density of the beans.

1. For Roasters with a capacity of 15 to 90 kilograms

When you go from a 15-kilogram to a 90-kilogram roaster, you won't need a new destoner. It is designed to adjust to almost any roaster. Many customers move them from one roaster to another depending on their needs. The hopper is adjustable in height, and many widths are available.

2. Easy to remove captured stones

After you roast, you will find the stones in a small drawer at the bottom of the hopper.

3. Catch Green Beans

The Destoner can be used to remove green beans from a dark roast. It often will catch them from a light roast as well. It is the only destoner that makes that claim. That is clear evidence that it is the best destoner for removing dense particles that are close to the density of a roasted bean.

4. No Adjustments

As with all fluid-bed destoners, there are no adjustments when you change the roast. 

5. Automatic Operation

Open the cooler, then the beans will flow into the hopper. The destoner will sense the beans and start destoning. When all the beans have cleared, they will stop and wait for the next roast.
