2010 Diedrich Model DCO-12 

The updated price on this unit is almost the cost of the chaff collector alone!!!

This Diedrich IR "DCO" (Diedrich Catalytic Oxidizer) was plugged into a beautiful Diedrich IR-12 we sold a few months ago. And it has a little bonus: as shown in the pictures, there is a Diedrich external chaff collector bolted to it! Completely plumbed and includes the ventilation motor up top. Approximately a $4,000 option alone!

External chaff collectors are reported to be more efficient and way easier to clean out then an under the roaster chaff collection system.

Last used in 2014 when the roaster and afterburner were acquired from prior owner who had a roastery but ran into health issues. Current owner has seen this piece of equipment in operation. He didn't need this afterburner when roasting so it has sat until now. Has upgraded to a Loring so no longer needs this oxidizer which was attached to the IR-12 we sold.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Upon check out in prep for sale, it showed an ignition issue. Diedrich has suggested that afterburner won't ignite because of one of the following problems: (1) the Flame Rod Sensor needs to be replaced - a $50 part from Diedrich, or (2) the gas pressure to air mixture fell "out of tune" and isn't providing the right environment for ignition. This wouldn't require an adjustment and gas pressure check. 

This DCO-12 Oxidizer is being sold in "as-is" condition as described.
