Watch Out! 12-Kilo Diedrichs GO FAST
Here's a perfect pair: a Diedrich IR-12, 12kg roaster, and a Diedrich IR-12 afterburner. Manufactured in 2006, this is solid machinery with an industry name known for reliability. This sweetheart has a 1st Gen Automation, and a Touchscreen controller. Also includes a Cropster data bridge, so it's all set up for data logging.
The owner has experienced ZERO problems with this machine after 5 years of use and has kept up with all regular cleaning and maintenance. The blower motor and drum bearings were replaced in 2014. It was decommissioned, thoroughly cleaned, and crated in April 2019. It's still crated, and ready to ship, NOW!
The thermocouple and controller were replaced on the afterburner in 2016.
The IR-12 has a maximum of 12kg roast capacity (26 lbs). Roasts are typically 11-13 minutes with darker roasts taking just a bit longer. The IR-12 can be used to do very small precision batches or taken up to commercial roasting.
