The Story: 
The current owner loves wood fueled cooking and roasting. So, to augment his wood fired pizza restaurant, he decided to add a coffee bar. He went to Italy and sought out a wood fired coffee roaster. Working with a well-known, Italian artisan, they found this Tostatrice a legna Vittoria 15 kilo coffee roaster and refurbished it to the state of brand new. Don't take our word for it. Plans changed and the wood fired coffee vision has been "rekindled", and this beautiful roaster is no longer needed in the updated business plan. Owner wants this incredible roaster to have a new, proud roasting home.

This 15 kilo Vittoria roaster's base is all cast iron - so it operates very quietly. The classic "cast" style roaster sits on its own pedestal in old-world charm. The cooler also sits on its own pedestal. The drum is perforated to allow for ultimate air circulation and is especially friendly to blending. Ideal for blending and even roast color. Very heavy cast iron base for very quiet operation.

It operates (see video) on wood fuel. It can be converted to propane or NG.

The Restoration.
Vittoria made these beautiful classic design machines until around 1980 . . . this one has been meticulously stripped down and rebuilt totally to all its original glory. Beautiful restored and ready for the next generation. Restoration was done by a well-known Italian Coffee Roaster Artisan Antonio Sonaglioni.
