Presenting the San Franciscan SF-1 Sample Roaster, a charming and well-maintained machine that upholds the quality and integrity of its larger cousins the SF-6, SF-10, and SF-25.
The SF-1 is ideal for profiling and roasting high-end micro-lot boutique coffees. Its size makes it an excellent training roaster, enabling roastmasters to perfect their coffee profiles before scaling up to a production roaster. It's the quintessential machine for roasting exceptional specialty coffees.
Purchased in 2020, this roaster has been lightly used over 24 months, primarily for sampling. Now decommissioned, it remains fully operational with no issues and is ready for a new home.
The SF-1 can roast from 8 oz. (200g) to 1.3 lbs. (590g) of green coffee per batch, with the capability of up to three roasts per hour, providing a maximum capacity of 3 lbs. per hour.
Equipped with natural gas burners, it operates on a simple 110v household current and includes a matching connected chaff collector, all mounted on a stunning hardwood custom base.
