Description
This roasting plant includes Burns 23R roasting machine with cooling tray, afterburner, destoner system and chimney stacks. The 23R utilizes a perforated drum so the footprint is much smaller than many solid drum roasters. Its modular design simplifies installation. The recirculation system increases energy efficiency.
Nominal Capacity
- 250 to 530 lbs. per batch (typically 250 to 500 lbs)
- 4-5 batches per hour (nominal)
- Roast times typically 4 mins to 15 mins
- Up to 2,500 lbs./1,134 kg per hour
This plant is currently installed and operating as a backup machine. The plant and roaster was refurbished in 1993 with light use evr since. Due to owner desizing, the plant is being offered for a quick sale. It is in great condition and will not last long.
The price excludes dismantling, crating, shipping, re-assembly/installation and commissioning. These services are available at additional cost to the buyer and will be site specific. Also a new Control Panel can be built to buyer specications.
