The Phidget allows the bean, exhaust and inlet temp to be profiled. The roasters can interface with Artisan, but not control it. The PLC can learn a coffee profile and then it can be used to duplicate it. As soon as you charge the beans the PLC can make the adjustments to the profile and then dump the beans and cool them automatically.
