The General Packaging Equipment Co. vertical form-fill-seal machine V-80 produces 1 to 8 packages per cycle. It forms pillow, three-side seal, and four-side seal pouches from a roll of flexible film. General Packaging Equipment Company built this drawbar-style unit in 1980.

This vertical form-fill-and-seal (VFFS) machine pulls flat film off a roll and wraps it around a forming tube. A drawbar then pulls the film down, and the sealing jaws close each pouch. Photo eye registration reads a mark on the film, so every printed bag lines up the same way. The unit runs on 220 V single-phase power and currently uses a 14.25" film width.

One owner ran this machine until 2023 and performed daily maintenance while it was running. The owner has kept it in careful storage since then, and it still runs well.
