Matching the Sealer to Your Production Volume
Impulse sealers can match the size of your business. For small batches sealed one bag at a time, a hand-operated model works well. If you need both hands free to feed material, a foot-operated unit like the AIE FL Series is a better choice. For continuous, high-volume runs, an automatic model such as the AIE A1 Series or Sealer Sales W-Series and TISA-Series will keep sealing without needing someone to start each cycle.
Our sealers offer a range of seal widths, from narrow single-layer seals up to 10mm double-seal options for thicker or gusseted materials. Lengths go from compact 12-inch models to extra-wide 47-inch units for larger bags and liners.
One Thing to Check Before You Buy
Side-gusseted coffee bags have four layers that need to be sealed at once, and most single-element impulse sealers can't fully close them. A direct heat sealer works better for this type of bag. Our guide to choosing a coffee bag sealer explains which sealer fits each bag type.

What is an impulse sealer and how is it different from a constant heat sealer?
+An impulse sealer uses power only when the jaw is pressed down, then cools before the seal sets. A constant heat sealer keeps both jaws hot the whole time it's on, so it can seal thicker materials better.
Do you have automatic impulse sealers for high-volume packaging?
+Yes. Our AIE A1 Series and Sealer Sales W-Series and TISA-Series models run automatically once loaded. They are better for continuous packaging runs than hand-operated units.
What's the difference between a hand-operated and foot-operated impulse sealer?
+A hand-operated sealer needs one hand to press the sealing bar. A foot-operated model lets you use both hands to feed material and usually handles more seals per day.
Can impulse sealers seal gusseted coffee bags?
+Not reliably if the sealer has only one heating element. Gusseted bags need all four layers sealed at once, so a direct heat sealer is usually a better choice for this bag style.
What seal widths are available?
