Constant heat sealers use two heated jaws that stay at a set temperature the whole time the machine is running, giving you a wide, strong seal on thicker packaging materials. Also called direct heat sealers, they are built for coated aluminum foil, Kraft paper, cellophane, mylar, and coated polypropylene, materials that need more heat penetration than a quick impulse seal provides. If your bags are thinner, standard polyethylene or polypropylene film, our impulse sealers are usually the better fit.

Foot-Operated vs. Automatic Constant Heat Sealers

Foot-operated constant heat sealers keep the jaws heated and let you trigger each seal with a foot pedal, so both hands stay free to position the bag. They suit lower to mid-volume operations where an operator seals bags one at a time. Automatic constant heat sealers add a timer-controlled cycle for heating, sealing, and releasing, which speeds up repetitive runs and reduces operator fatigue over a full shift.
