The UG series was developed in the 1920s. The universal gas roasters, that are still built according to the original plans, are characterized by their ability to adjust the use of the hot air flow by means of the “flavor wheel”: with a flick of the wrist, you can steer it in different directions. All roasters of the UG series are equipped with a state-of-the-art drive, burner, and electrical technology.

Round shapes and clear lines: Even from a distance, the roasters of the UG series radiate an unmistakable individuality. Thanks to a maximum batch size of 25 kilograms and the successful combination of state-of-the-art technology with a matured retro design, the UG series looks fabulous out on display.

All roasters of the UG series are equipped with thermocouples as standard to document supply air, product, and exhaust air temperature. The basic version is controlled manually, also by deploying the traditional ‘aroma wheel’. Alternatively, the UG roasters can be fitted with a semiautomatic control via a touch panel.

FLEXIBILITY - The extended batch size range, individually adjustable frequency converters and the targeted airflow by means of the traditional "aroma wheel" allow maximum flexibility in the aroma development of different coffee types.

INDIVIDUALITY - The classic look can be individually rounded off by adapting different design parts according to personal preference, unique for every roastery!
