This is a Full Automation 5 kilo/11 lb. Diedrich Model IR-5 roaster and matching afterburner. This one was manufactured in 2013. It's in great condition. Was used as a solid, consistent batch, roasting machine (which is why a Diedrich roaster was chosen) for a front-of-shop chain. Changes in retail operations has created the opportunity for you to now own this little gem. Original manuals and information included.
Btw, new from Diedrich, this package with full automation, chaff collector and afterburner is just shy of $50,000! The full automation package alone is a $10,000 add-on! And this guy is only 8 years old!

The Diedrich IR-5 can pump out up to 44 pounds per hour, depending on your roast profile. Like its brothers and sisters, the IR-5 gives you unparalleled precision and control over all batches. It uses infrared burners, producing a fresh, clean coffee with all the right notes.
This IR-5 currently runs on natural gas. Conversion kits are available direct from Diedrich to convert to propane.
