Description

 JOPER SAMPLE ROASTER

The JOPER sample roaster has improved upon the industry standard design by adding 2 significant changes: 1) adding bean temperature reading and related thermal control and 2) making the drum slightly larger to accommodate more than the existing 80 grams samples . . . as much of the industry was wanting 100 - 120 or even 150 grams per drum.  You can also select any color you want - and there is an external chaff collector to sort out the chaff and provide air flow on both drums at the same time - and that air is adjustable in each drum.

The bean temperature is monitored on the digital reader on the front of the machine.  Set the heat temperature or set temperature of the coffee being roasted.  The burner turns on and off to maintain the temperature and never over heat.  Choose from gas, LPG (Propane) or Electric Quartz heaters.

Sample roasters are built to approved standards but are not certified as they are typically considered portable devices.

Built to UL295 Standards.

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS

  • Chaff Collector: The 1 Barrel Sample Roaster does not normally need a chaff collector but you can add one . It is a gravity cyclone chaff collector so no power is needed.
  • Micron Carbon Filter: There are micron filters that can be added to a vent right inside your roasting room!

NOTE: One drum has vent to the outside but the two drum includes the exhaust cyclone assembly (not pictured). Most people prefer the two barrel version for lab use. The one barrel makes for a good portable unit.

CAUTION: Beware of  knock-offs roaster made in China. The exterior looks similar but the interior and the motors are radically different. This machine is designed to hook up to the Brigus Profile System, Artisan, open source, Cropster, Roast Log  making it easy for individual profile development - something no other sample roaster is doing.

Note: Crating and freight costs are not included.

Origin is Europe.
